What is unique about Volt
It's not easy to keep an overview in the jungle of parties. That's why we want to give you a brief overview of why Volt stands out from the crowd.
What is unique about Volt
The Volt party has several unique selling points, some of which clearly distinguish it from other parties:
Pan-European organisation:
Volt is the first truly pan-European party, active in 31 countries with now over 27,000 members, pursuing a unified European policy. This enables a cross-border exchange and the development of pan-European solutions, towards a European state that gives Europe a powerful voice in economic, security and social terms.Focus on European integration:
Volt's central goal is a fundamental reform of the European Union towards a federal European republic. The party is in favour of strengthening the European institutions and giving more powers to the EU Parliament.Young average age:
Politics is the key to the future and young people not only bring their own world view with them, they are also the ones who experience the future the longest. With an average age of 38, Volt is significantly younger than established parties and is therefore particularly good at addressing issues that will be crucial for the next generation.Pragmatic approach:
Volt has a very pragmatic, solution-orientated style of politics and looks to best practice from across Europe. It is, so to speak, the best of all political worlds and is not trapped in the classic roles of wing politics or national politics.Digital focus:
The party attaches great importance to digitalisation and is calling for a dedicated digital ministry. In principle, other parties are also calling for this, but at a national level. Volt is in favour of pan-European, standardised implementation. This is the only way to ensure that communication between the member states is improved and that, among other things, corruption and crime can be better combated and citizen services can be made less bureaucratic.Holistic transformation approach:
Volt is pursuing a social-liberal transformation that combines climate protection, the economy and social justice beyond Europe's borders. Climate protection and economic growth are not mutually exclusive, but complement each other through smart investments in future technology. A Europe as a beacon for the world.Transnational structure:
As the first transnational party, Volt has a unique organisational structure that is coordinated across Europe. This is a milestone towards a pan-European party landscape and government. Only in this way can what has long belonged together finally grow together.
This combination of pan-European orientation, focus on reform, youthful dynamism and pragmatic approach makes Volt a unique political force in the European party landscape.
