Europe Calling! Together for Europe

In times of Trump, Putin and Xi Jinping, we need a strong, capable, federal European state in which everyone stands together and which guarantees democracy, stability and freedom even in turbulent times. Out of the national past, into a European future!

This is what we are demonstrating for on Europe Day - we need a EUROPEAN REPUBLIC NOW:

  • Abolish the veto

  • European army

  • Strong EU foreign minister

  • EU government instead of Commission

  • Common Foreign & Security Policy

Join us. #EuropeCalling

On May 9, 1950, Robert Schuman delivered his historic declaration, calling for a stronger, more united Europe, one capable of standing together against common threats. It was this vision of overcoming division through integration that gave birth to the European Union we know today.

Yet 75 years later, the world has become unrecognisable. We are surrounded by threats: tariffs, trade wars, conflicts at our borders. Putin is challenging Europe’s peace. Trump through his protectionism and isolation, is disrupting the global balance that has been built after decades of hard work and cooperation. And within our own institutions, gridlock, vetoes, and stagnation hold us back.

We refuse to accept this. We demand change.

We will not tolerate a Europe that is asleep, fragmented, paralysed by its own rules. We will not stand by as others make decisions for us.

We call for a Europe that is resilient, institutionally, economically, and militarily. A Europe strong in trade, sovereign in the digital sphere, and capable of defending its values and its people. We demand treaty reform, integrating defense as a shared competence. We want a more robust European democracy, with open debates shielded from social media manipulation.

The time to act is now. Let this 75th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration be remembered as the day Europe rose once more.

Because Europe is calling.

And it’s about time we answered, together, for Europe!
